Before Darna was an alien being named Princess Varona from the planet Vargon. On planet Earth, She is Varga protector of mankind.She is assisted by a human girl named Olga in saving the world from the forces of evil.
Filipino writer Mars Ravelo and Filipino artist Nestor Redondo in 1947 for Bulaklak Magazine. She was the precursor to Mars Ravelo’s other superheroine Darna.
